Construction of the Western high-speed diameter in St. Petersburg

The creation of the ZSD is the world's largest example of public-private partnership in the field of road construction. This is a highway that solves the transport problems of the city, allows you to relieve the central part of St. Petersburg, relieve traffic tension on Vasilyevsky Island, in the northern and southern regions. The total length of the highway is 46.6 km. Construction work was carried out from autumn 2005 to December 2016. In December 2018, one of the lanes of the Western High—speed Diameter started operating in the fast transponder lane mode.
During the construction of such an important transport facility, cable-carrying systems of TM IEK were involved. This equipment was characterized by ease of installation and high technical characteristics.
