Patch cords are switching cords designed for switching the data transmission lines between different sections of switching panels, connecting the active switching or server equipment to the network, as well as for connecting the phones and computers to information sockets. The main characteristic of the cords is their resistance to multiple loads of bending and torsion, which is provided by a multi-wire conductor.
