VN-32 switch disconnector are switching device without protection functions. From functional point of view, the VN-32 are knife switches with double break of contacts that prevents occurrence of leakage even under environmental conditions of elevated humidity.
Switch versions for 100 A have two contact bridges working in parallel in order to improve reliability of contacts and limit heat loss at contact junctions.
The switches do not have arc suppression elements and cannot be used for switching on/off of capacitance and inductance loads.

IEK screw terminal KZVI is used for screw connection of conductors, protecting the wire from damage and eliminating the possibility of a short circuit to the electrical installation case.

Copper lugs DTL-185 IEK

Modular circuit breakers (MCB) VA47-29 with a breaking capacity of 6 kA protect the wiring connected to them from overload and short circuits, designed to protect distribution and group circuits having different loads:
- electrical appliances, lighting – MCB with characteristic B,
- motors with small starting currents (compressor, fan) – MCB with characteristic C, 
- motors with high starting currents (hoists, pumps) - MCB with characteristic D. 
Automatic switches VA47-29 with breaking capacity 6kA are recommended for use in input-distribution devices for residential and public buildings with normal load. They have a 6kA breaking capacity standard for most countries. Such MCBs are most often used at the present time.
