Double insulation - complete separation of the power and auxiliary circuits. The casing of each of the additional devices is placed in a separate niche, that completely eliminates the risk of contact with live parts and increases the safety of maintenance and inspection.

Large values of rated ultimate breaking capacity - up to 50 kA.

Plastic parts of switch casing are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide providing resistance to deformation occurring during short circuit.

VA88 switches can be mounted in any position without change in their nominal characteristics. VA88 switches can be powered through the upper or lower terminals without disturbing the performance.

Full range of thermal releases makes it possible to provide selectivity in multi-stage protection system.

VA88 circuit breaker design allows to install additional devices.

Current limit, i.e. the actual current during a short-circuit, which is much lower than the estimated one. This is realized due to the contacts separation speed, dynamic action of the magnetic field, and the arc chute design ensures the arc blowout in the shortest possible time.

By means of special RCS bracket the VA88-32, VA88-33 breakers can be mounted on a DIN-rail.
