SFC ONI soft starters are the flagship devices in the ONI softstarter line with a built-in bypass contactor. Used for smooth starting and stopping of asynchronous electric motors with a squirrel-cage rotor by gradually increasing the voltage on the motor stator. SFC ONI soft starters are equipped with all the necessary functions for effective control and protection of electric motors and can significantly reduce energy consumption and increase the service life of equipment. The power part of the soft starter is made of thyristors installed on each phase; the device control system is digital using an external full-text Russified LCD remote control. The presence of a built-in bypass for the entire operating power range can significantly extend the life of the soft starter and effectively dissipate generated heat, and also saves space in the control cabinet compared to devices with an external bypass.
