Voznesensky Trakt is an eastern exit highway in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan and one of the most large-scale infrastructure projects in Kazan in recent years. Interestingly, as reported by the business-gazeta.ru portal, the corridor for the highway was laid in the general development plan of the city back in 1969. The road unloads the automobile routes of the densely populated Sovetsky District, in particular Mamadyshsky Trakt, and gives motorists the opportunity to use an alternative route out of the city.
For lighting the first section of the tract, over 1400 FEREKS DKU luminaires were installed. These are durable and reliable products made of extruded aluminum. The luminaires have a color temperature of 4000 K, a Sh2 light distribution curve type and a power from 68 to 260 W.
