A second solar power plant from NEOSUN, part of IEK GROUP, has been installed at the branch of the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" (NRU "MPEI") in the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region. The station's electricity will go to the needs of the student campus, as well as to the city grid.
The solar power plant became part of a large leisure art project, including areas for playing chess and table tennis. The installed capacity of the station is 35 kW with TOPCon photovoltaic modules and a DEYE grid inverter. Forecast generation is 45 MWh per year, reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere is 24 tons.
The implementation of this project allows for the effective solution of a set of tasks: optimizing electricity costs, reducing peak loads, supporting sustainable development and responsible resource consumption.
