In Yekaterinburg, the XI International Championship of High-Tech Professions "Hi-Tech 2024" has concluded. About 500 workers and engineers from 14 major Russian enterprises competed for the title of best in their field. IEK GROUP acted as the main partner of the most numerous competency in terms of participants — "Electrical Installation".
10 years ago, IEK GROUP proposed including the "Electrical Installation" competency in the young championship of cross-cutting blue-collar professions. Annually, the company introduced new technologies into its program, and the participants' skills grew. And if in 2014 they were expected to mount motor reversal and control lighting using a timer, today experts and contestants masterfully possess skills in working with ONI automation equipment, configure human-machine interfaces, use controllers for energy management, and create complex electrical systems.
Natalia Belskaya, Director of the Human Resources Management Department at IEK GROUP:
"Partnership with 'Hi-Tech' is one of the directions of IEK's comprehensive work on forming and improving advanced skills among electrical installers. In the electrical industry, our company occupies one of the leading positions not only from a business standpoint but also in terms of social responsibility: annually, with our support, a large number of events are held to engage in the profession and practice skills. Thanks to this, the number of specialists who know how to work with our technological equipment and develop comprehensive solutions is growing."
For IEK GROUP, "Hi-Tech" is also a platform where new products can be tested and the capabilities and characteristics of equipment can be discussed with direct users. In 2024, in the exhibition area of the championship, the company presented a modern ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) based on IEK and ONI products. The device not only has a digital control and analysis system for the electrical installation but also allows analyzing data via WEB, connecting to the ONI controller via Wi-Fi.
