In St. Petersburg, the II Final of the national championship "Professionals" has concluded. IEK GROUP, a gold partner of the championship, fully provided the "Electrical Installation" competency with electrical equipment and also developed tasks for the contestants.

In 2024, the "Professionals" championship became international. In addition to 73 regions of Russia, about 20 countries participated. Over 900 specialists competed in professional skills in 55 main and 20 junior competencies.
In the "Electrical Installation" competency, the main age group platform featured electricians from 15 regions of Russia, as well as from the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Ghana; in the junior category — participants from 5 regions of the Russian Federation. Among the contestants were finalists of the VII Open Electricians Championship IEK.
The "Professionals" championship task, developed with IEK GROUP's participation, included traditional electrical installation as well as configuration and programming of logical nodes of the electrical installation — a controller, frequency converter, HMI panel.
The winner of the II Final of the national championship "Professionals" in the main age group was Ilya Chuprov, who in the summer of 2024 won the main prize of the VII Open Electricians Championship IEK. Among juniors, the best was Alexander Soldatenko, who last year was part of the IEK GROUP corporate junior team at the "Professionals" championship.
But "Professionals" is not only about the competition. The championship organizing committee organized a "Marathon of Professions", attended by over 3000 schoolchildren. At the IEK GROUP career guidance platform, teenagers could try their hand as integrators, learned to program logic controllers, and studied the concept of "Digital Electrical Installation".
"IEK GROUP traditionally supports the 'Electrical Installation' competency at professional skills championships," says Natalia Bel'skaya, Director of the Human Resources Management Department at IEK GROUP. "We introduce modern technologies into the competition program, thanks to which participants gain new knowledge, and a wide audience becomes acquainted with the possibilities of digitalizing electrical installation. Together with colleges, we are creating the professional of the future — universal and effective, most in demand by employers."
