A new competency — "Dispatching of Technological Processes" — may appear in the program of the national championship "Professionals". The necessity of developing professional education in this field was discussed at the business program of the National Championship Final in St. Petersburg. The panel discussion was organized by IEK GROUP — one of Russia's technological leaders in the field of electrical engineering and automation.
Over 100 people participated in the discussion, and speakers included representatives of companies IEK GROUP, "MPS soft", "Air Gates of the Northern Capital", "Leningrad", and competency manager "Dispatching" Andrey Mochalkin. The moderator was Nikita Zlatin, Director of the College of Automation of Production Processes and Applied Information Systems of St. Petersburg.
Participants discussed the nuances of dispatching production processes in the electric power industry and aviation, development of the competency in the short term, and industry needs for professionals.
The company "MPS soft" (part of IEK GROUP) announced cooperation programs with higher and secondary professional educational institutions, talked about creating stands and virtual simulators that will be in demand when training specialists. And did not rule out the possibility of scaling its programs to schools.

In September 2024, at the High-Tech Championship "Hi-Tech", the new competency "Dispatching of Technological Processes" was presented for the first time. Its creation, just like for the "Electrical Installation" competency, was initiated by IEK GROUP. As a dispatching system, the company implemented its own MasterSCADA system — Russian software, successfully used in various industries.
Specialists capable of working with equipment in the field of automation and dispatching are highly in demand in the market. And the dispatching process itself is one of the main provisions of enterprise digital transformation programs.
