Company representatives participated in the XXXIV Open Moscow Engineering Conference for Schoolchildren "Potential", held at the National Research University "MPEI".
The conference is held to identify and support gifted schoolchildren and students striving to engage in engineering sciences. Students of schools, colleges, and technical schools aged 11 to 19 can participate. The children develop scientific projects, which are then reviewed by expert commissions at section meetings. In 2025, 17 sections worked, including in such areas as mathematics, physics, astronomy, construction, design and architecture, smart home technologies, energy, and energy conservation.
"The company participated in a meeting with future engineers. We told them about the production of electrical equipment, main market trends, modern technologies, and our role in industry development," says Petr Nekrasov, Head of the Department for Work with the Expert Community and Educational Institutions at IEK GROUP. "Most of the students participating in the conference plan to connect their lives with the industry market and enroll at MPEI. They are our potential employees or professional equipment users."
We remind you that an agreement on cooperation in the field of educational and scientific-technical activities has been signed between IEK GROUP and NIU "MPEI". Company and university specialists conduct joint educational events aimed at popularizing the electrician profession and developing the electrical industry. For example, MPEI experts participate in developing tasks for the IEK Electricians Championship, and MPEI students undergo internships at the company to learn more about the electrical industry. By the way, after graduating from the university, some of them return to IEK GROUP as employees.
