
In Moscow, the semifinal of the Electricians Championship IEK — 2025 took place. 15 electricians from Moscow, Moscow region, Lipetsk and Vladimir regions, republics of Tatarstan and Chuvashia advanced to it. The competition was 24 people per place! The venue was the College of Automation and Information Technology No. 20.
The semifinal was opened by Mikhail Pogrebissky, Director of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrification, NIU MPEI. The university acts as the educational partner of the Championship, and competition prize-winners will receive additional points for admission to the university.
The Moscow semifinal gathered professionals of a very high level: the qualifying score for this stage became one of the highest in the entire history of the Championship! In such competition, there was no room for error: all participants gave their 100%.
The competition task consisted of two stages: assembling a lighting automation system and mounting an electrical installation circuit. Semifinalists worked with popular IEK products: TEKFOR plastic enclosures, ELASTA cable laying systems, and ARMAT modular equipment. Work went on until the last second!
Contestants were watched by potential employers — representatives of JSC "NPP "Geofizika-Kosmos". The company showed active interest in the competitions and expressed readiness to employ semifinalists. The Moscow stage was visited by administrators of specialized Moscow colleges and the leadership of the Department of Special Electrical Engineering, Automated Systems, and Communications of the Academy of State Fire Service of EMERCOM of the Russian Federation.
While the jury evaluated the work, electricians "roasted" the metal multimedia series TITAN enclosure. IEK GROUP specialist Vladimir Gorelikov answered sharp questions from practicing specialists.
Guests of the semifinal also had something to do: fans participated in engaging master classes, electrical installation competitions, and studied IEK novelties. The activities interested both practicing specialists and college students.
And now, finally, the winners and prize-winners of the Moscow semifinal of the Electricians Championship IEK — 2025 are known!
In the "Professionals" league:
1st place: Ilya Chuprov, Moscow.2nd place: Rail Garipov, Kazan.3rd place: Alexey Zlobin, Moscow.
In the "Juniors" league:
1st place: Le Tuan Tu, Kazan.2nd place: Sergey Chernozubov, Moscow.3rd place: Konstantin Lazarev, Moscow.
Ilya Chuprov, Rail Garipov, and Le Tuan Tu advance to the final! On May 20, 2025, they will compete for victory with the best participants of the Electricians Championship IEK — 2025.
