The semifinal of the Electricians Championship IEK — 2025 took place in Novosibirsk. The geography of the stage was impressive: specialists from 12 regions of Russia came to it! The competitions were traditionally hosted by Novosibirsk Construction and Installation College — a long-term partner of IEK GROUP in developing professional skills of electrical installers.
The semifinal was opened by Vitaly Bykov, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Novosibirsk Region. He emphasized: "The competitions provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, exchange experiences with colleagues and professionals, establish useful contacts in the industry. The contest helps increase participants' self-confidence and may assist in further employment."
The first task of the semifinal was dedicated to programming. Electrical installers had to configure automation of a lighting system using specialized software, as well as industrial controllers and ONI electromechanical relays.
Then participants proceeded to assemble an electrical installation circuit. This task required from them both a high level of skill and tactical thinking: contestants needed to correctly distribute time and energy to perform such complex work.
One of the main goals of the Electricians Championship IEK is popularizing the electrical installer profession and career guidance for youth. Guests of the semifinal in Novosibirsk were college students and schoolchildren. They enthusiastically participated in master classes and competitions, examined electrical novelties. The world of electrical installation captivates!
Participants' work was evaluated by a strict professional jury. Competition was very high: the difference in scores of some prize-winners was only 0.25 points! As a result, podium places were distributed as follows:
"Professionals" League
1st place: Ivan Kazantsev, Tomsk.2nd place: Dmitry Khromov, Barnaul.3rd place: Artem Kot, Tomsk.
"Juniors" League
- 1st place: Andrey Khomenko, Novosibirsk.
- 2nd place: Ivan Kolosov, Novosibirsk.
- 3rd place: Danila Burlakov, Novosibirsk.
We congratulate the prize-winners of the Novosibirsk semifinal! Ivan Kazantsev, Dmitry Khromov, and Andrey Khomenko we will see very soon in the final: on May 20, 2025, they will compete in Kazan for the title of best participant of the Electricians Championship IEK — 2025.
