At the IEK GROUP plant in the Kaluga region, repair work has begun in office premises and workshops. This was announced by the director of production of the new enterprise of the company Alexey Anfinnogenov at a meeting with the head of the administration of the city of Balabanovo Sergey Galkin.
The IEK GROUP enterprise, located on the former industrial site of "Ventall", will produce metal cable management systems under the IEK brand - trays of all types and accessories for them, including the full range of ladder trays.
The production site in the Kaluga region will become the 11th enterprise of IEK GROUP along with those already successfully operating in the Moscow and Tula regions, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk, and St. Petersburg. The total revenue of the company's Russian enterprises in 2023 amounted to over 46 billion rubles, with IEK GROUP investing more than 50 percent of profit annually into production development.
The amount of investment in the plant project in the city of Balabanovo will exceed 1 billion rubles; the enterprise will create over 500 jobs. The start of new production is planned by the end of 2024.
