In Kyzyl, with the support of IEK GROUP, the I Interregional Cross-Country Skiing Competitions among boys and girls "Get Involved in Life!" were held. Our company helped organize the tournament as a partner of the Republic of Tuva Cross-Country Skiing Federation.
The first major competition of the season in Tuva was attended by athletes aged 13 to 16 from the teams of the Republics of Tuva, Khakassia, and Altai. On the first competition day, skiers participated in individual start races over distances of 3 and 5 km, on the second — in a mixed relay.
IEK GROUP not only participated in organizing the tournament but also purchased equipment and gear for the young athletes.
Senior coach of the Complex Sports School of the Republic of Khakassia Alexander Karachakov: "Helping skiers, especially beginners, is a very important matter. Without good equipment, it's impossible to show good results, and we hope that now our young athletes will win more often at major competitions."
IEK GROUP CEO Andrey Zabelin:
"Our company is always happy to support sports, especially children's sports, and cooperation with the Republic of Tuva Cross-Country Skiing Federation is not the only such project. There are plans to develop this direction. Especially since there are skiers among our employees as well: colleagues perform at a fairly high level and take prize places in corporate tournaments."
