IEK GROUP General Director Andrey Zabelin, in an interview with "RBC Industries", spoke about the development of the Russian electrical equipment market after the departure of leading global companies.
Andrey Zabelin, in particular, assessed the dynamics in the electrical equipment products market in 2024 as good. At the same time, among customers, especially from the industrial and commercial real estate sectors, interest in parallel imports is declining. When implementing new projects, market participants do not want to depend on unreliable supply channels and unpredictable prices.
At the same time, interest in industrial automation is growing. In this direction, IEK GROUP is developing its own family of software products MasterSCADA and increases turnover in the software sector by more than 50% each year.
Andrey Zabelin also noted that the Russian electrical equipment market almost always grows steadily, even despite rather negative macroeconomic conditions. So the company has predominantly optimistic expectations for the market.
