IEK GROUP CEO Andrey Zabelin commented for the "Stroitelny Yezhenedelnik" newspaper on the issue of the evolution of urban lighting. The company has long been successfully participating in the energy service contract program, providing customers with bright light and allowing savings on electricity.
"An energy service contract is a tool for implementing energy efficiency measures, allowing them to be carried out at the expense of the energy service company and save the customer's funds. The investor receives reimbursement of their costs from the achieved savings obtained after the implementation of energy-saving technologies," notes Andrey Zabelin.
Among projects implemented within such contracts are the updating of the lighting system in Nizhnekamsk and Sterlitamak — where outdated lamps were replaced with LEDEL Street X1 fixtures. In Nyazepetrovsk, Chelyabinsk region, nearly 900
In Kingisepp, Leningrad region, street lighting was modernized and 1,825 Super Street 150 fixtures were installed. And in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, the modernization of outdoor lighting and the application of the "Smart City" remote control system ensured 77% savings in electricity.
According to Andrey Zabelin, IEK GROUP implements a comprehensive approach: offers customers a solution that includes equipment, software for project calculations, and the possibility of participation in energy service contracts.
