IEK DIGITAL Executive Director Andrey Podlesny, in an interview with the Kommersant Technologies portal, spoke about the current state of enterprise automation, its prospects, and what "Energy 5.0" is.
"The concept of 'Energy 5.0' is logically considered within the framework of 'Industry 5.0', which will replace 'Industry 4.0'. This is the next step, where data analysis and decision-making are partially or fully performed by a mathematical model, not a person. The operator receives recommendations or ready-made action scenarios, which frees up employee resources for strategic tasks," explains Andrey Podlesny.
IEK DIGITAL - a new brand for the focus direction of industrial automation within IEK GROUP - represents an ecosystem of software solutions for creating comprehensive offerings. Its specialists are already developing models corresponding to the "Energy 5.0" concept: using artificial intelligence, they reduce the routine load on workers and assist them in decision-making.
Already now, Andrey Podlesny believes, it is possible to build a factory where 90% of tasks will be performed by AI, but 10% will still remain with humans.
