Andrey Zabelin, General Director of IEK GROUP, gave an interview to the Izvestia newspaper. He spoke about the fifth industrial revolution and how new technologies affect production.
According to Andrey Zabelin, the fifth industrial revolution, or "Industry 5.0", which involves human-machine interaction, will lead to a rethinking of the worker's role in production. Human participation in production cycles will be reduced; they will train robotic assistants to perform routine operations.
The "Energy 5.0" concept, one of the directions of "Industry 5.0", is of great importance for this process. "Energy 5.0" assumes that the digitalization and transformation of production will be facilitated by the introduction of new electrical solutions. They are aimed at optimizing energy consumption and managing production processes, increasing productivity, accumulating and analyzing data. The use of dispatching and control systems such as MasterSCADA 4D from IEK will minimize the human factor.
