IEK GROUP and the All-Russian Public Organization "Paralympic Committee of Russia" (PCR) have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by President of the Paralympic Committee of Russia Pavel Rozhkov and IEK GROUP CEO Andrey Zabelin.
Joint initiatives will be aimed at popularizing sports among children and youth with disabilities, strengthening health, and forming a culture of an active lifestyle. The parties plan to pay special attention to creating conditions for harmonious personal development and improving the quality of life of citizens.
President of the Paralympic Committee of Russia Pavel Rozhkov emphasized:
"Cooperation with business plays a key role in the development of Paralympic sports and involving children and teenagers in it. For us, this is not only resource support but also recognition of the high social significance of our work in this direction. Thanks to partners like IEK GROUP, we can conduct more events within our 'Paralympic Lesson' and 'Future Champions' programs, which open the path to sports for new generations. The first events under our agreement are planned before the end of this year in the Kaluga and Ulyanovsk regions."
For many years, IEK GROUP has actively supported sports at various levels. The company is a partner of the Greco-Roman Wrestling Federation of Podolsk, the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation, the general sponsor of the All-Russian Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament for the V. Ivlev Prizes, and a sponsor of the St. Petersburg Rugby Federation. Great attention is paid to developing sports within the company: sports clubs for employees function, and IEK GROUP teams regularly take prize places at the largest industry and corporate tournaments.
