IEK GROUP joined the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the International Championship of High-Tech Professions "Hi-Tech: Skills of the Future." The company's representative is IEK GROUP HR Director Natalia Belskaya. The Organizing Committee is headed by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov.
"Hi-Tech" is a professional skills championship created in 2016. Its mission is to introduce new technologies at Russian enterprises, train qualified personnel in the industrial sector, and develop advanced technological solutions.
In 2025, the championship will be reformatted. Participants can be not only representatives of large industrial companies but also medium and small businesses. Specialists from BRICS, EAEU, and ASEAN countries will participate in the international championship standings. Within Hi-Tech, the final of the International Festival of Scientific and Technical Creativity of Children and Youth will take place.
IEK GROUP has supported the championship since its foundation. The company oversees the development of the "Electrical Installation" competence, which is one of the most popular and high-tech. Electrician competitions from the first year were held on IEK equipment. It was at "Hi-Tech," on IEK GROUP's initiative, that the first electrician competitions among juniors started.
In 2023, the company became the developer and moderator of the international competence standard, which became part of the methodological basis of the "Hi-Tech" championship. Already in 2024, the standards were successfully applied at competitions, and participants received an international SkillsPassport.
— IEK GROUP, as a company actively supporting public initiatives, is interested in developing the country's personnel potential, — comments Natalia Belskaya. — Our experience shows that championships like 'Hi-Tech' are an excellent tool for popularizing the profession, introducing new technological solutions, and improving the qualifications of specialists. We want electricians to master modern skills and be able to realize their potential in the domestic market.
Over the history of the Hi-Tech championship, on IEK GROUP's initiative, the task in the "Electrical Installation" competence has become more complex and interesting. Electricians, starting with the installation of motor start-reverse systems and lighting systems controlled by a timer, today assemble comprehensive electrical systems at the championship and program intelligent power grid management systems.
