Japanese motifs were introduced into the interior of a traditional Russian country house by the authors of another episode of the "Country Answer" show on the NTV channel. In the project, they used 75 m of IEK LED strip.
The low ceiling in the living room prompted designer Ksenia Lysenko's thoughts about the Land of the Rising Sun. It was also, by the way, the main problem of the room: even four windows were not enough to illuminate the 30 sq. meter room.
The designer came up with an original solution: an imitation of a window in the ceiling. For this, an LED strip was attached to it using metallic tape. Then a metal frame was assembled under the ceiling and a special light-transmitting fabric was stretched. And the creation of the "window" was completed with a frame: lightweight beams made of polyurethane foam, decorated to look like wood, were installed.

The IEK LED strip is perfect for such a project. It operates from a household AC power supply and is easy to install. The assortment includes several colors: warm white, cool white, blue, green, red, RGB. The strip can operate in a temperature range from –25 to +50 °C and has a high degree of protection against dust and moisture. It is produced in lengths up to 50 m, is easy to cut (cutting increment — 1 m), and segments up to 100 m long can be connected in series.
"An unusual ceiling, creating the impression of no ceiling. It seems as if the sun is breaking through the slatted partition," — this is how the country house owners described the structure.
The Japanese theme in the interior was complemented by paper lanterns, but the key element remained the unusual "window": a vivid example of how the IEK LED strip can bring the boldest ideas to life.
