Love photography? Are you inspired by people in blue-collar professions, especially representatives of electrical engineering professions? Especially for you, we announce a photo contest dedicated to the VIII IEK Electricians Championship. Winners will receive 100,000 rubles and the opportunity to show their work to a wide audience!
Share your photos depicting people who give energy: electricians, electrical fitters, electrical engineers, employees of energy sector enterprises. It doesn't matter what they are doing, the main thing is that they are related to the electrical engineering industry.
The goal of the contest is to reflect the complexity of energy workers' work, their indispensability to society, and the beauty of the profession. The only limitation: the frame should not contain names of electrical engineering brands, except for IEK GROUP brands (this is allowed but not a mandatory condition).
Works are accepted in two categories: "Professionals" and "Amateurs". You decide in which nomination you want to compete for the main prize — 100,000 rubles.
To participate in the contest, it is necessary from March 4 to May 1, 2025 to upload your works to a file sharing service and send the link to the email fotokonkurs@iek.ru. In the email, indicate your full name, contact details, work title, backstory, and chosen nomination.
Note: photos attached as files are not accepted for the contest.
Technical requirements:
- All works are submitted in two formats — web and for print (4961×7016, resolution not less than 300 dpi).
- You can shoot with professional equipment or a smartphone.
- The link to the file sharing service must be valid until the day of summarizing the contest results.
Contest winners will be determined in two stages — by expert and public voting. We will summarize the results at the final of the VIII IEK Electricians Championship, and the finalists' works will be presented at an exhibition at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
