Electrical wiring devices, cable ducts, and modular equipment previously released under the Legrand brand can now be purchased from IEK GROUP and its partners. We are talking about products well-known in Russia that were released under the names INSPIRIA, QUTEO, ETIKA, VALENA Classic, cable ducts of the DLP, DLPlus, METRA, METRA Mini series, and RX3 modular equipment.
The list includes new items released in April this year — screwless and screw-type sockets of the 45×45 standard.
The ability to purchase Legrand and IEK products from a single supplier will significantly facilitate the procedure for placing and receiving an order: its shipment will now be carried out under a single contract from the IEK GROUP central warehouse in Shcherbinka, Moscow region, which will simplify logistics and reduce delivery times.
In the future, items from the Legrand assortment will become part of IEK GROUP's global product offering while preserving the model range, design, and production technologies. For example, at the IEK GROUP production site "Dakkor Volga" (formerly owned by Legrand), electrical wiring devices of various series will be produced. Currently, the process of localizing their production is over 80% complete and ongoing. The "Dakkor Volga" plant is equipped with modern high-tech equipment, with the help of which most processes are automated, and defect rates are minimized. The team consists of highly qualified engineers and workers.
"We are using all the capabilities of the modern production sites of the Legrand group, preserving their developments. Manufacturing electrical wiring devices on the territory of Russia will give us the opportunity to participate in projects where only Russian-made products are allowed," says IEK GROUP Financial Director Mikhail Gorbachev. "We, in turn, will provide customers with quality products at optimal prices and without the need for long delivery waits."
Cable ducts will also be produced in Ulyanovsk. Currently, their production is localized by over 80%. IEK GROUP has preserved the manufacturing technology and production standards used at the Legrand company. Combined with high-quality raw materials, IEK GROUP's experience, and the existing control system in the company, this guarantees the reliability and high quality of the items.
Work is also underway to expand functionality, update design, and launch new series of products produced at the "Dakkor Volga" production site.
