A country house with a spacious living room is many people's dream: large companies can gather there, and holidays can be celebrated with a wide family circle. But what to do if poor layout limits the room's usability? In the new episode of the "Country Answer" show on NTV, the project authors showed how to transform such a room. When arranging the living room, the designers used SKANDY IEK series wiring accessories.

The proportions and symmetry of the large pass-through room were disrupted by several details: three doors to other rooms, an arch leading to the kitchen, the open space under the stairs used for storage, and the low ceiling.
To visually eliminate these shortcomings and make the room more comfortable, the designers divided it into zones (utility and living room), remodeled the arch and decorated it and the doors in the same style, and enclosed the space under the stairs. Walls, decorative elements on the ceiling, and the staircase were painted in different colors in such a way that they complement and balance each other. White dominates the room, diluted with black stripes and colored — berry, mustard, and peach — rectangles on the wall.

For the updated interior, the project authors chose SKANDY IEK series wiring accessories. When developing this line, the designers were inspired by Scandinavian style, where the main focus is on the comfort and coziness of the homeowners.
The appearance of SKANDY switches and sockets is characterized by laconicism, which allows using them in any interior. Thin frames with soft lines come in 11 colors, three textures — matte, soft-touch, and metallic, and three types of material — metal, plastic, and glass.

SKANDY wiring accessories are easy to install and reliable in operation. The front panel and mechanism housing of the products are made of polycarbonate, the double insulated mounting plate is coated with anti-corrosion coating, a special overlay insulates current-carrying conductors, screwless contacts allow quick fixing of conductors, and anchor fastening provides additional fixation in the mounting box.
SKANDY in black with a metal frame successfully complemented the graphic pattern on the walls in the updated living room, without disturbing either the horizontal "zebra" or the harmony of the colored blocks.
