The IEK GROUP central office in the Comcity business center in Moscow is illuminated by IEK brand lighting fixtures. The interior also uses ARFA suspended ceilings.
At the beginning of 2025, the IEK GROUP head office moved to the Comcity business center. This is an office park of international level in the southwest of Moscow. Consists of Class A buildings, has a landscaped green area with recreation zones, a shopping gallery, parking, and a hotel. In 2022, the jury of the International Property Awards recognized it as the best office object in the world.
The IEK GROUP office area is over 7 thousand sq.m, housing work offices, open-space areas, meeting rooms, relaxation zones.
In the office, it was necessary to create a comfortable lighting environment for work, including soft light of a neutral shade, the possibility of zone lighting control, emergency lighting on evacuation routes.
At the project development stage, company engineers determined target illumination indicators and calculated how many lighting fixtures were required. Their power, quantity, and placement locations were determined using 3D modeling and lighting calculations.
Work zones are illuminated by linear suspended lights mounted above tables and along passageways. Each line is controlled separately, allowing turning on light only where necessary. Lights above workplaces are complemented by ARFA ceiling panels.
In meeting rooms and relaxation zones, linear, spot, and track lights are installed. The type and quantity are determined according to the size and purpose of the room.
Technical premises are illuminated by recessed and surface-mounted lights with IP54 protection rating. Emergency lighting is organized using universal emergency power supply units BAP120. These devices are connected to linear lights of the working lighting and ensure safe evacuation of personnel if electricity is cut off in an emergency situation
Overall, over 900 lighting fixtures of different models were used in the project: linear lights 1010 and 1011, track adjustable lights 4116 with LED lamp on busway, DSP 1425/1425A, LED strip, DPA 2104, SSA 2101, BAP120. They harmoniously complement the interior design and also create a comfortable lighting environment, pleasant to work in.
