Light furniture, stucco on white walls, delicate tulle on the window, and diverse lighting fixtures emphasizing the elegance of the interior — that's what the living room turned out to be in the new episode of "Kvartirny Vopros" on NTV. To create soft lighting, the designer used IEK lighting fixtures.

The apartment owners wished to see their room decorated in the style of functional minimalism — without dark colors and with a minimum of furniture.
According to the project, the walls were painted white. To prevent them from being too boring, they were decorated with moldings and stucco, thus combining classic with minimalism in one room. The whiteness of the room was balanced with striped armchairs and bright chairs.
In such an interior, lighting plays a special role — it should be cozy, soft, not blinding. The designers made it multi-level: recessed and adjustable lights in the ceiling, sconces on the walls, and an LED strip emphasizing their relief.
Recessed lights — "craters" sunk into the ceiling — are fitted with PAR16 spot 5 W IEK lamps. They work in any, even unstable, networks, the IC driver provides protection against overloads, overheating, and short circuits, the Anti blue-light system protects from the negative impact of blue light on vision. Such lamps emit less heat than incandescent and halogen lamps and last tens of times longer.

On the ceiling, the craftsmen installed IEK adjustable lights for GU10 lamps. The designer chose models in chrome color, but besides them, black, white, and gold lights are available in the range. Their elongated bodies are decorated with matte transparent inserts, the adjustable mechanism allows orienting the light flow in the desired direction.

The lighting decor is completed by an IEK LED strip, with the help of which the craftsmen "lifted" the ceiling, laying it in the form of rectangles along the top of the walls. The strip shines brightly and lasts long, is easy to install, and safe thanks to the low voltage of 24 V.
