"Tekfor" — the best enterprise in Moscow in its production segment according to the Interindustry Rating Company. Based on the results of 2024, the IEK GROUP production site received the "Industry Leader" certificate, taking first place in the Rating of Advanced Enterprises and Organizations in the section "Manufacture of other plastic products".
In 2022, OOO "TD Tekfor", which manufactures plastic enclosures for distribution panels and accessories for them, became part of IEK GROUP.
"In the first year after integration, we increased plastic enclosure production by 45%. Over two years of operation, the enterprise's revenue grew by 80%. Through the implementation of lean manufacturing technologies and installation of new equipment, the enterprise's profitability increased by 11%," says Artem Maymor, Deputy General Director of IEK GROUP for Commercial Affairs and Business Development.
Now IEK TEKFOR is the flagship series of plastic modular enclosures in the IEK GROUP assortment. Specifically for their production, the company updated its equipment: replaced outdated injection molding machines and, in addition to existing ones, purchased five new ones.
Four machining centers for components allowed increasing busbar production, and robotic manipulators simplified the performance of some operations. Also, the number of molds for manufacturing parts was increased fivefold.
At the same time, the quality of the products remains consistently high: they are distinguished by thoughtful design, elegance of technical solutions, and a high level of execution. Professionals in the electrical engineering market value IEK TEKFOR enclosures for ease of installation and operation. Last year, the updated IEK TEKFOR series was recognized as the winner of the "Best Industrial Design in Russia" award in the "Industrial Equipment Design" category in the "Design Prototype" nomination. This line of enclosures is undergoing the stage of final design refinements and will soon be put into serial production.
"Tekfor"'s reputation, stable growth, and financial indicators allowed it to take first place in the Rating of Advanced Enterprises and Organizations, compiled by the Interindustry Rating Company. Last year, it assessed the financial and economic indicators of over 2500 enterprises. Based on the expert assessment, "Tekfor" is classified as recommended for cooperation, and the research result may indicate the organization's reliability.
