IEK GROUP is expanding its production capacities: by the end of 2024, it is planned to open an enterprise in the city of Balabanovo, Kaluga region. The plant will produce metal cable management systems - trays of all types and accessories for them, including the full range of ladder trays.
To implement these goals, the company purchased an industrial facility with an area of 20,000 square meters in the city of Balabanovo. This site previously housed the production of the company "Ventall", where all types of metal structures were produced for a long time, including complex bridge structures. The start of new production at the site is planned by the end of 2024. The amount of investment in the project will exceed 1 billion rubles. It is planned to create over 500 jobs at the enterprise.

"Annually, the company invests more than 50% of profit into production development. We constantly increase capacity and increase the share of localized products. Demand for our products is constantly growing, especially clearly after the departure of European brands. We have increased the number of shifts; a number of enterprises operate around the clock. But this is not enough. Therefore, we plan to open new production sites in 2024."
Metal trays are a high-demand product used for laying cable lines in industry, agriculture, the oil and gas sector, and during the construction of residential, commercial, and infrastructure facilities. IEK has been producing metal trays since 2009. In 2023, the company produced about 11 million linear meters of various types of metal trays and over 3 million accessories for them. The launch of the production complex in the Kaluga region will allow the company to increase product volume by 70% by 2027.
Annually, over 350 million products are produced at IEK GROUP's Russian production sites; the product assortment already numbers over 33,000 items. Last year, a plant for producing twisted pair cable (LAN cable) was launched, sold under the ITK and GENERICA brands belonging to IEK GROUP. The 2023 deal was also the company's acquisition of Russian assets of the French Legrand Group, including the "Kontaktor" plant.
The revenue of IEK GROUP's Russian enterprises amounted to over 46 billion rubles, and the number of employees grew to 4200 people. The complex in the Kaluga region will become the
