The manufacturer of equipment for monitoring the oil transportation process, CPA JSC "Transneft - Automation and Metrology", has successfully replaced cabinets of a European brand with IEK GROUP products. Since 2022, cabinets of the FORMAT IEK series have been used in the production of standard solutions.
The Industrial Automation Center (CPA) of JSC "Transneft - Automation and Metrology" produces equipment for monitoring the process of transporting oil and oil products through pipelines. Equipment production is characterized by a high degree of localization; products are manufactured predominantly from domestic components, which is important for the economic and technological independence of the industry from foreign suppliers. Products are supplied to organizations of PJSC "Transneft", as well as to external suppliers. The products are patented and have been certified in Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
IEK GROUP specialists, together with the design department of CPA "Transneft - Automation and Metrology", worked on replacing cabinets of a European brand in standard solutions. Thus, FORMAT IEK cabinets were implemented in the production of linear telemechanics cabinets (ШТМ).
Cabinets of the FORMAT IEK series are made of galvanized steel, have a protection degree of IP54, and electrical safety class I. They comply with GOST standards and meet the needs of the Russian electrical equipment market. The use of cabinets of this series allows reducing installation time due to the use of a fully symmetrical profile, universal accessories, and interchangeable mounting rails in the design. Since the cabinet body is made of galvanized steel and structural elements are coated with powder paint or aluzinc, they can be used in harsh operating conditions. At the same time, cabinets reliably protect the electrical equipment installed in them from aggressive environmental influences. A variety of configurations, standard sizes, and forms of internal partitioning allows selecting a cabinet of the required size and rationally using its internal space.
Internal functional blocks (ФБ) prevent the occurrence and spread of electric arcs inside the LVSB (Low Voltage Switchboard), provide protection against accidental contact of maintenance personnel with live parts. Furthermore, ФБ can have various designs, are fully compatible with equipment from domestic and foreign manufacturers, which allowed using FORMAT IEK cabinets to reduce dependence on Western suppliers.
