One of the largest Russian developers, Capital Group, replaced European brands' products at a facility. In the Capital Towers residential complex, in the "smart home" systems, ЩРн TITAN 5 from the IEK assortment are now installed. Surface-mounted distribution boards were used in the turnkey designer renovation of apartments.
Capital Group is a Russian development company that has been constructing complex facilities, business-class, elite, and premium residential buildings for over 30 years. One of the developer's projects is the complex of residential skyscrapers Capital Towers, located on the first line of the Moscow River within walking distance from the Moscow City business center and Krasnaya Presnya Park. These are the only skyscrapers in the Presnensky District with apartments, not apart-hotel units.
The premium residential complex is located on an area of 3.12 hectares. The total area of the buildings and the five-level underground parking is 243 thousand sq. m. The residential complex consists of three towers built in a minimalist style: River, City, and Park, housing 837 apartments. The architecture was developed by Sergey Skuratov Architects. The project also provides for its own developed infrastructure: a children's leisure center, a fitness center with a pool and SPA, cafes, restaurants, and a shopping gallery. The underground parking is designed for 1306 car spaces, has a video surveillance system, and the possibility to reach the desired level directly from the apartment. During the construction of Capital Towers, modern technological solutions were used: a modernized microclimate management system, a "smart home" system.
Initially, the project envisaged the installation of "smart home" system equipment in surface-mounted cabinets of another company. After that company left Russia, they had to be promptly replaced. ЩРн TITAN 5 from IEK came to the rescue, which have no analogues in the assortment of other electrical product manufacturers. ЩРн TITAN 5 were used in the turnkey designer renovation of apartments, with "smart home" equipment installed inside. In total, in 2023, 2500 cabinets for 72 and 96 modules were supplied. The partner in this project was Real Electro.
The modernized series of enclosures ЩРн TITAN 5 was developed taking into account the features of modular installation of modern building automation systems. The cabinets are convenient to install due to the absence of a partition between the body sections and the removable mounting frame. Increased space between DIN-rails is provided for cable routing. Busbars can be installed at the top and bottom. At the same time, the cabinets ensure complete human safety: they have IP54 protection class, and the front panel is made of plastic. The series includes several sizes designed for different numbers of modules. This allows selecting an enclosure that meets the features and configuration of the system being installed.
"Intelligent building automation systems, remote and scene lighting control provide human comfort, and in the construction of new residential complexes, they are often provided for by the project. Previously, cabinets of a European brand, which was very popular in the Russian technology market, were most often used for installing such systems. After the manufacturer left Russia, their replacement with an analogue that would not be inferior in quality, safety, and installation convenience was required. IEK cabinets of the TITAN 5 series are a full-fledged replacement for the enclosures of European brands. When developing each project, we try to offer a comprehensive solution.
