The Open Electricians Championship IEK has been recognized with the prestigious "HR Brand" award. The IEK GROUP project won in the category "HR by Different Rules" and also took second place in the "Capital" category, losing only to the Moscow Government. The awards became the third and fourth "HR Brand" trophies in the company's collection!
"HR by Different Rules" is the oldest award category, founded by the company Tele2. 37 companies contended for the win, and requirements for nominees were serious. According to Elena Ivanova, Deputy General Director for Organizational Development and Human Resources at Tele2, in 2023 the category changed its content.
"We are proud of our partnership with HeadHunter, our special category 'HR by Different Rules' for 6 years now. It evolves just as the role of the HR function in company life does. If earlier we noted creative innovative HR solutions, now the focus has shifted. Now we strive to support projects implemented by HR teams that have had a significant positive impact on the industry, labor market, or society as a whole," says Elena Ivanova. "The 'Electricians Championship' project by IEK GROUP fully meets these criteria. Colleagues managed to proactively approach solving a serious industry problem, develop and disseminate unified electrical installation standards to a large target audience. We congratulate the entire IEK GROUP team — this was an ambitious task, and colleagues successfully handled it."
According to Natalia Bel'skaya, Director of Human Resources at IEK GROUP, the Open Electricians Championship IEK is not an ordinary project for the company.
"This is our position, a contribution to the development of the profession and technologies, and a desire to help professionals grow in the market. Our audience is every user of IEK equipment, from schoolchildren to electricians with many years of experience. Starting in Moscow, in just a year our championship reached the federal level, covering over 3500 electricians across Russia," says Natalia Bel'skaya. "I would especially like to thank Tele2 for their creative approach to the category. Our colleagues always play by different rules themselves, achieving outstanding results, and set a high bar for us, expecting from modern HR not just a narrow functionality but influence on the community, including not only potential employees but also clients and company partners."
We thank for support in organizing and implementing the project in 2023–2024 the partner of the Open Electricians Championship IEK — NIU "MPEI", competition experts, the Ministry of Education, the Agency for Profession and Skills Development, and the "KADR26" college!
