3500 specialists participated in the VII Open IEK Electricians Championship, but only one became the winner. Who is he?

The battle of the strongest electrical installers lasted six months. First in online qualifying tests, then in semifinals, and finally, in the decisive stage of the championship.
The tournament turned out to be very large-scale, and this is confirmed by numbers. At the first stage, 3500 specialists from 37 cities joined the fight. 105 people made it to the semifinals (and there were seven of them!). And in the final, 34 participants met — not only the winners of the VII Open IEK Electricians Championship semifinals but also electricians who won championships of IEK GROUP partners: "AVS-Electro", ETM, "Russkiy Svet", and "Svetomaniya".

Electrical installation is not only a man's job. Girls tried to prove this, and there were many among the participants: in the qualifying stage — 287, in the semifinals — 3. Only Darya Bashkirova made it to the final. And although she did not make it to the top three, taking 12th place, she will surely remember her birthday: Dasha's 16th birthday coincided with the final day of the tournament and passed in an extraordinary atmosphere!

The intensity of rivalry grew from stage to stage and reached its maximum during the final. Over two days, electrical installers competed for the championship winner title. Their work was evaluated by experts within the framework of the new BRICS specification for electrical installation, moderated by IEK GROUP.

And finally, we learned the names of the winner and prize-winners!
1st place — Ilya Chuprikov, 20 years old, Moscow. Prize — 150,000 rubles.2nd place — Vlad Gusev, 17 years old, Saint Petersburg. Prize — 80,000 rubles.3rd place — Eldar Khaliullin, 25 years old, Tomsk. Prize — 50,000 rubles.
During the award ceremony, Director of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrification (National Research University "MPEI") Mikhail Yakovlevich Pogrebissky invited the championship prize-winners to take advanced training courses in automation in autumn 2024. Also, the championship top three will receive additional points when applying to the university.
All participants of the VII Open IEK Electricians Championship final became the first private electricians in Russia and in the world to receive international SKILLS PASSPORT certificates of mastery. The international certificate will be considered as an additional advantage when applying to the National Research University "MPEI".

Simultaneously with the final of the VII Open IEK Electricians Championship, the BRICS Future Skills and Tech Challenge, organized with the support of IEK GROUP, took place at the same venue. Specialists from 5 countries participated. And their work was worth watching!
Electrical installers from BRICS countries competed for the winner title, performing a highly complex task over 16 hours. As a result, the "gold" of the BRICS Future Skills and Tech Challenge was won by Ribeiro Mateus Dalagua (Brazil), second place went to Dmitry Kireev (Belarus), third place — to Artem Teplitsky, representing the Roscosmos state corporation.
Congratulations to the winners and prize-winners of the two championships!
