An air heating system based on MasterSCADA 4D was tested in the laboratory of the IEK GROUP office and warehouse complex in Shcherbinka. The program evaluated and regulated air parameters such as temperature, humidity, and CO2 concentration. The experiment showed the effectiveness of combined heating — air and central.
Initial data were obtained from the archive of the SCADA system for building dispatching based on MasterSCADA 4D, which has been operating in the laboratory since December 2022. Then, temperature, humidity, and CO2 sensors were installed at the facility. All this was done to create comfortable working conditions for personnel and equipment operation, as well as to reduce energy consumption.
The ventilation control system successfully coped with the task! Air heating provided an optimal balance of supplied and extracted heat, and consequently, the most comfortable temperature in the laboratory. The experiment showed that a combined heating system can make energy consumption more rational and efficient.
In the future, with the help of the MasterSCADA ventilation control system, it is planned to regulate not only temperature but also air humidity and carbon dioxide concentration. Combined heating performed excellently in the laboratory, so in the future it will be applied in the offices and warehouse premises of the complex.
MasterSCADA 4D is a modern tool for developing control and dispatching systems. It implements an object-oriented approach, which helps to create and debug scenarios as quickly as possible. The software is fully developed in Russia, which allows for prompt technical support and quality service without interruptions.
