NEOSUN, part of IEK GROUP, commissioned a 30 kW solar power plant in the Republic of Adygea on the roof of a grocery store of a well-known retail chain.

The implemented NEOSUN solution allows optimizing electricity costs, smoothing peak loads, and improving the customer's environmental image. The installation kit includes 60 high-efficiency solar modules NEOSUN with a capacity of 550 W each, a grid-tie inverter Deye with a capacity of 30 kW. The forecasted generation of the solar power plant is 40 MWh per year, which will allow the retail enterprise to save up to 20% of electricity per year and reduce CO2 emissions by 14 tons. The project payback period is less than 5 years.
Dmitry Matrosov, General Director of NEOSUN:
"Half of the electricity costs of a grocery store usually fall on the operation of refrigeration equipment. To this is added the annual increase in electricity tariffs. It is not surprising that technical solutions that allow reducing these costs and increasing energy efficiency are becoming increasingly relevant. Peak energy consumption occurs during the daytime, which makes the use of solar power plants a rational and effective solution. A grid-tied solar power plant, which will work together with the city grid, replacing grid electricity with solar generation, is best suited for this. We hope that the successful implementation of the project will allow scaling the solution to other stores of the chain"
NEOSUN is a certified engineering company providing services for implementing projects in the field of solar energy and energy storage since 2017. In June 2022, the company became part of IEK GROUP.
