At the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, graduates are being seen off: both masters and bachelors have received their diplomas. IEK GROUP also did not stand aside and attended one of the ceremonial ceremonies to congratulate future engineers and present a memorable gift — the book by Dmitry Borodin "Histories of Electrical Engineering". This collector's, richly illustrated edition was released in a limited print run specially for the company's 25th anniversary and was not available for general sale.
Words of farewell to the graduates were given by Petr Nekrasov, Head of the Department for Work with the Expert Community and Educational Institutions at IEK GROUP. He expressed hope that in the future, MPEI graduates would come to work for the company. IEK values young specialists and offers them all conditions for personal and career development.
IEK GROUP actively cooperates with NIU "MPEI" and contributes to the training of professional personnel. In 2023, an agreement was signed between the company and the university establishing long-term partnership relations in the field of educational and scientific-technical activities. For example, within this partnership, holding employees jointly with IETE faculty developed a working model of a programmable elevator installation for the MPEI Department of Automated Electric Drive. Institute specialists, in turn, participate in developing tasks for the IEK Electricians Championship, and students undergo internships at the company to learn more about the electrical industry. Applicants planning to enroll at MPEI receive 5 additional points to their entrance exam results after successfully completing IEK educational programs. The same number of points are credited for participants of the "Professionals" championship in the "Electrical Installation" competency, and winners and prize-winners of competitions are awarded 8 bonus points.
Also among the joint projects of NIU "MPEI", IEK GROUP, and BRICS+ is the development of an international competency center. It will be organized on the basis of MPEI and will allow combining the efforts of higher education, an equipment manufacturer, and an international organization to develop and implement modern skills in the field of electrical installation and industrial automation.
And this is just the beginning. MPEI and IEK GROUP have many joint plans and prospects.
