At the Nikiforovsky Sugar Plant, part of the Rusagro group of companies, there was a need to update equipment in the main distribution board (MDB). It was required to replace outdated air circuit breakers.
IEK GROUP engineers consulted with the enterprise specialists and selected devices considering the loads of the existing power supply system. ARMAT air circuit breakers were proposed for the project tasks. After agreeing on the assortment with the plant's power engineers, the company promptly supplied the products.
The parameters of ARMAT air circuit breakers allow them to be installed on any type of facility: from residential buildings to industrial complexes. Three types of electronic releases — standard, professional, and extended — help choose the optimal price-to-functionality ratio.
Advantages of the devices:
- Service breaking capacity equals ultimate breaking capacity (Icu = Ics).
- Stable operation at elevated temperatures.
- Up to 50,000 mechanical cycles (subject to maintenance).
- Connection via Modbus protocol (in TY and TT releases).
- Color touchscreen display.
Thanks to the use of ARMAT air circuit breakers, the Nikiforovsky Sugar Plant increased the reliability of its power supply system. This contributed to the continuation of the plant's operation at a high level in accordance with the requirements of the Rusagro group of companies.
The Rusagro group of companies is Russia's largest vertically integrated agribusiness holding, occupying leading positions in sugar production, pig farming, crop farming, and the oil and fat business.
