The main ice skating rink in the country — the GUM Skating Rink, located on Red Square in Moscow, is illuminated by luminaires produced by FEREKS.
Despite the abnormally warm weather for January, the skating rink on Red Square is open and, as usual, attracts a large number of visitors.
This is not the largest, but perhaps the most atmospheric skating rink in Moscow — the location demands it. A special mood is set by festive decorations, a winter fair nearby, master classes from sports stars, and, of course, Red Square itself.
Lighting plays not the last role in creating the atmosphere at the rink. It is provided by FFL LED luminaires from FEREKS. They are installed on trusses at a height of 4.5 m and evenly illuminate the ice without blinding skaters.
FFL are powerful LED floodlights designed for lighting sports and construction sites, airports, shopping centers, stadiums, and outdoor areas of production and logistics complexes. The housing is made of aluminum alloy with a polymer coating. Specially designed optics allow effective distribution of luminous flux, creating directional lighting without dark spots.
FEREKS luminaires have been illuminating the GUM Skating Rink for more than a year, helping visitors have a good time on the ice and take beautiful photos in the center of the capital.
