In 2024, IEK GROUP celebrates the 25th anniversary of its business. How the company has changed and what its development strategy will be in the future — this was discussed during an "Open Interview" with the newspaper "Energy and Industry of Russia" by IEK GROUP General Director Andrey Zabelin.
In recent years, IEK GROUP has increased production — today the company has 11 enterprises. The brand portfolio has been expanded, which are being assembled into a single monolithic structure, and new competencies have been acquired as a result of five M&A deals.
The company confirmed the success of its strategy with its development dynamics and the results of its enterprises' work. A vivid example is the plastic enclosure manufacturer "Tekfor", which became part of the holding in 2023. In just one year, the plant's production volume grew by 45%! Overall, IEK GROUP's business growth over the past year was more than 20%.
— Indeed, the company has changed significantly and acquired a new status, now it sets standards and is an example in the domestic electrical engineering market, — notes Andrey Zabelin. — After the departure of European brands, IEK GROUP is ready to replace their equipment with innovative products. The acquisition in 2023 of the Russian assets of the French company Legrand Group gives us even more opportunities for development and achieving the most ambitious goals.
