— The main goal is to ensure the successful development of the business of our entire group of companies in partnership with IEK GROUP, — said Maxim Levin. — Instead of the Legrand brand, a new independent brand will be presented. The "Kontaktor" brand, which has existed on the market for 82 years, will also be developed autonomously.
The new head reported that one of the important tasks for 2024 is the sale of the stock of finished products. Over the past two years, a substantial stock of products of the Legrand trademark, manufactured at European and Russian plants of the Legrand Group, has been formed. Active sales of this product are now being conducted through distributor networks, DIY stores, certified online electrical stores, and other sales channels. Among the main priorities are also launching an import substitution program and starting production of a large number of new products.
— The production sites in Ulyanovsk and St. Petersburg will develop as an independent structure, as a separate profit center. They form a group that should have a single management center, which is why we decided to appoint a new General Director. This approach will increase the efficiency of all business processes, — noted IEK GROUP General Director Andrey Zabelin. — In the next three years, IEK GROUP will invest over 1 billion rubles in the development of production at the Ulyanovsk enterprises. The number of jobs will increase here, expansion of the product range and development of comprehensive solutions are planned.
The enterprises in Ulyanovsk produce commercial and household electrical installation products, modular circuit breakers, protection and switching equipment for electrical networks 0.4 kV up to 6300 A, cable ducts, mini-channels, and accessories for them, convectors. At the end of 2023, production of a new generation of air circuit breakers — "Proton M" under the "Kontaktor" brand began. The daily volume of finished product warehouses located in Ulyanovsk and Dmitrov (Moscow region) is over 20 million units.
