The Baikal Tract is a highway connecting the city of Irkutsk and the urban-type settlement Listvyanka at the source of the Angara River. This busy highway leads to Baikal — the most famous lake in Russia.
Since 2021, a project for lighting the road along its entire length has been underway. The first luminaire deliveries showed that equipment should be chosen considering the region's climatic features and from a reliable manufacturer — such as IEK GROUP.
The lighting project was created by specialists from the "Struktura Sveta" Group of Companies. For installation on previously unlit sections of the tract, they chose Street X1 luminaires from LEDEL — the flagship brand of IEK GROUP. The luminaires are distinguished by high energy efficiency: 160 lm/W at consumed power of 95 W.
Today, more than 1000 Street X1 luminaires illuminate the Baikal Tract. And this is not the limit! Complete lighting of the Irkutsk — Listvyanka highway is planned to be completed in 2025.
