In Minsk, the professional skills championship ProfSkills Belarus 2025 has concluded. IEK GROUP traditionally acted as a partner of the competitions in the "Electrical Installation" competency, company experts were part of the independent jury.
The Open Professional Skills Championship brought together over 400 contestants from EAEU+ countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, China, and Zimbabwe. Russia in the "Electrical Installation" competency was represented by Ilya Chuprov — a repeated winner and prize-winner of electrical installation championships, including at the international level. This year, he took first place in the Open Electricians Championship IEK in the "Professionals" league.
Electrical installers worked on the platform with IEK equipment. The competition task required basic skills: assembling an electrical panel, installing sockets and switches, open cable laying. The jury evaluated the functionality of the electrical circuit and the quality of its assembly, as well as contestants' compliance with safety regulations.
"IEK GROUP has been supporting the development of secondary vocational education in the Republic of Belarus for 10 years, since the first competitions," comments Petr Nekrasov, Head of the Department for Work with the Expert Community at IEK GROUP. "Thanks to close ties between the Russian and Belarusian expert communities, and the company's technical support, today graduates of Belarusian and Russian colleges are capable of working with modern equipment: operator panels, controllers, and frequency converters. A graduate of a Belarusian electrical engineering college is a modern electrician possessing the basics of industrial automation."
Our company also conducted a master class on digital installation — a field at the intersection of electrical installation and programming — for championship guests. This year, the master class interested not only schoolchildren and students but also current managers and practicing specialists. Teachers, heads of educational institutions, representatives of regional departments — digital installation captivated all guests!
The Championship competitions were held in two categories — national and international. The first places in both categories were won by winners of the Open Electricians Championship — 2025! In the international category, "gold" went to Russian electrical installer Ilya Chuprov, "silver" was taken by Ivan Gavrilik from Belarus, and third place went to Yan Maoxi from China.
In the national competition, first place was taken by the winner of the Open Electricians Championship — 2025 in the Republic of Belarus, Ivan Gavrilik. Second place went to Nikita Fialkovsky, and Renat Mazukabzov closes the top three prize-winners.
IEK GROUP congratulates the winners and prize-winners of ProfSkills Belarus 2025 in the "Electrical Installation" competency and wishes them further professional development!
