IEK GROUP, with the support of the Data Center Industry Participants Association, held an offsite conference with visits to its own production facilities. Industry experts discussed current issues of engineering infrastructure creation.
One of the meeting topics was increasing the level of trust in Russian brands' products — what methods and tools can be used for this?
The main thing, conference participants believe, is to be closer to the consumer. Not just to produce and supply equipment to customers but also to provide service during its operation. To be not only a supplier but also an expert capable of consulting and giving advice. To ensure quick delivery of the customer's order.
IEK GROUP actively follows these principles. To improve logistics, the company is opening new warehouses: in 2024 — in Rostov-on-Don and Yekaterinburg, in 2025, a logistics hub in the "Kuvekino" industrial park in the Moscow Region is planned to be commissioned.
The company is also developing R&D direction and is a member of four technical standardization committees, helping to regulate the industry's work. Company representatives act as experts at conferences, give lectures, work with schoolchildren and students, and publish their works in industry and business media. And production localization is one of IEK GROUP's priority tasks — up to 50% of profit is invested annually in this direction.
During the offsite conference, IEK GROUP guests visited the company's plants in Troitsk and Yasnogorsk, the laboratory, and showroom in Shcherbinka. Data center representatives saw how products are manufactured on powerful production lines and familiarized themselves with the strict quality control system adopted in the company.
Recall that IEK GROUP joined the Data Center Industry Participants Association in 2023. It is a non-profit organization acting in the interests of market players. The company's work in the Association allows exchanging experience with colleagues, cooperating in implementing industry initiatives, and forming an expert community.
