IEK Group Plans to Create a Production Facility in Novosibirsk for ₽1 Billion
Russian holding IEK Group plans to build an enterprise in Novosibirsk for the production of metal enclosures for electrical cabinets. The investment volume for creating the site will be at least 1 billion rubles. Holding representatives told "Kommersant-Sibir" that production is planned to start at the beginning of 2026.
The enterprise will occupy an area of 8 thousand sq. m. Each month, 30 thousand units of products will be manufactured there. It is expected that at the first stage, production volume will amount to 1 billion rubles per year.
IEK Group Executive Director Mikhail Gorbachev said that metal enclosures are used in the electrical engineering industry and also in the telecommunications sector. "Currently, the main place of their production is Yasnogorsk, Tula region. We have also started producing such enclosures in Kazan and plan to launch production in Novosibirsk," the top manager said.
