IEK Bets on Electrical Cabinets
Russian electrical engineering holding IEK Group plans to build a new production workshop in Novosibirsk for manufacturing metal enclosures for electrical cabinets. The investment volume will be at least 1 billion rubles, the holding told "Kommersant-Sibir". The company intends to start production at the beginning of 2026.
"Metal enclosures are used in the electrical engineering industry and the telecom industry. Our production capacities allow us to produce over 2 million such products per year. Currently, the main place of their production is Yasnogorsk, Tula region. We have also started producing such enclosures in Kazan and plan to launch production in Novosibirsk," IEK Group Executive Director Mikhail Gorbachev told "Kommersant-Sibir".
