IEK GROUP to Invest 2 Billion Rubles in Electrical Equipment Production in Ulyanovsk Region
A corresponding agreement between JSC "Kontaktor" (part of IEK GROUP) and the region was signed at SPIEF-2025.
Production is planned to be located on the territory of a future industrial-production type special economic zone (SEZ). Currently, the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation is preparing an application to establish an SEZ based on the "Zavolzhye" industrial park.
The project is expected to create up to 300 new jobs.
