IEK GROUP and 'Energy 5.0': The Fifth Industrial Revolution is Already Underway
Andrey Zabelin, General Director of IEK GROUP, in an interview with Izvestia newspaper, talked about the fifth industrial revolution and how new technologies affect production.
According to Andrey Zabelin, the fifth industrial revolution, or 'Industry 5.0', which involves human-machine interaction, will lead to a rethinking of the worker's role in production. Human participation in production cycles will decrease, as they will train robotic assistants to perform routine operations.
The concept of 'Energy 5.0' is important for this process: according to it, digitalization and production transformation will be facilitated by the implementation of new electrical engineering solutions. These are aimed at optimizing energy consumption and production process management, increasing productivity, and accumulating and analyzing data.
