An IES file is a file with photometric data of a luminaire, necessary for lighting calculations or for 3D modeling of spaces with artificial light sources. The file contains information about the distribution and intensity of the luminous flux, describing the geometry of light radiation, called the LDC - light distribution curve. This file format can be used in CAD systems such as Dialux, nanoCAD, Revit, and others.
