The database includes:
- Straight sections of sheet, ladder and wire mesh cable trays
- Fittings and accessories for cable trays
- Mounting elements of cable support structures
- Connection kits and fasteners
The composition of components represents the full product range and is sufficient for constructing and assembling cable support structures of any complexity in three-dimensional space
The following categories of elements are included in the Database:
- Prototype structures: parametric elements having 3D representation.
Cable route prototypes: considered outdated, but can be useful for cable route sections with complex structure
- Mini-catalog parts: straight and shaped tray sections.
MINI-CATALOGS: contain ready-made sets of elements of straight and shaped tray sections with specified parameters, speeding up the design process. They are built in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Cable sections: typical solutions for tray routes, recommended by the manufacturer
CABLE SECTIONS: this method combines support structures and several routes from mini-catalogs. The designer can use a ready-made section from the album, create their own non-standard solution for a specific project.
- Fasteners and parts of cable support systems.
Parametric elements that do not have their own 3D representation and are placed on the drawing as child elements relative to prototype structure elements or mini-catalog parts.
- Hierarchical lists
Auxiliary elements used to select product parameters strictly corresponding to the plant's product range
In total, the Database includes over 8700 different cable support structure products from IEK GROUP.
The database offers the designer ready-made, proven solutions and allows for the development of cable route projects in Model Studio CS both using cable structure prototypes and using the construction technology with the help of mini-catalogs and cable sections.
The new database of metal cable support systems from IEK company minimizes errors during design and also increases the speed of assembling the required cable structure configurations.
